Defensive Resources is a small business owned by father-daughter locals, Brad and Katie Dody. Together we have always had aspirations to start up a gun store and share our love for firearms.

Brad and Katie have been avid bowhunters for most of their lives and have always shared a passion for the outdoors and the shooting range. When we were presented with the opportunity to start a gun store, we knew we would be crazy not to take it. At first we were selling guns on Armslist out of our office without an official storefront. On March 30th, 2020 we were able to open the doors of our official store that we built inside of a storm shelter of Kwik Kar Rental.

Now we are open throughout the week growing our small business and spreading the love of firearms to the people of Wichita, KS.
